I was sitting down with my calendar this week, and I realized just how quickly Easter is coming up on us. Does anyone else forget about Easter because of how the holiday moves around during spring? And on top of it, Easter falls on April 1st this year. I feel like that’s the punchline to a joke. Regardless, this holiday sneaks up on us every year. What do you wear to stay comfy during church, food, egg hunts, food, bunny visits, and even more food? Don’t worry, girl! I’ve got you covered! Here are 6 styles to put together for Easter outfits.
Adult Styles
If you’re like my family, you head to church, and then go home and eat your own body weight in food. I used to struggle finding clothing choices that 1. looked cute while I was in church and 2. be comfortable after I’ve consumed mass quantities of food. Prior to LuLaRoe, I never had any Easter outfits that fit both criteria. I used to change after mass so I would be comfy. Well, I’m going to blow your mind. I now have clothes that are both church-appropriate AND comfortable enough for your post-food coma. Want to know my secrets? Let me introduce you to four different styles that will change your world!
The Amelia
Ohhhh! The Amelia! She’s one of my favorite styles! It’s fitted through the chest, has box pleats at the waist (to help hide all that food you just ate), and the best part, POCKETS!! You know your kids are going to hand you all kinds of items that they will find during the day, so the pockets are perfect! These dresses fit true to size. However, if you’re super busty, you might want to size up to make room for the girls.
The Carly
I could write a love letter to the Carly. Oh wait, I have. (Wanna read it? HERE you go!) So, why is the Carly the perfect answer for an Easter outfit? It’s insanely comfortable, first off. It’s fitted through the chest, but very flowy as it heads away from your chest. Why is that important? It gives you more room to hide a food baby! And you won’t have to worry about something tight pushing on your over-full stomach. Because of this, I’ll probably wear a Carly myself on Easter, and I’m sure many other ladies will be incorporating one into their Easter outfits.
The Cassie
I’m not going to lie. I have a big ol’ booty, so I never thought I’d like a pencil skirt. Well, the Cassie is sewn with pure magic and unicorn hair for threads because it looks fantastic on everyone. I’m not feeding you a line. This skirt really is that amazing. It also features a waistband like a pair of yoga pants, so you know it’s got some amazing stretch. Partner this with a looser fitting shirt, and you’ve got an outfit made in to accommodate an Easter food baby! Need a shirt to match? Girl, I’ve got you covered with that, too!
The Sarah
I mentioned before that Easter falls really early this year. I live in northern Wisconsin, so chances are we’ll have snow. I’m a master at layering, and the Sarah cardigan is a regular in my arsenal. It hits me about knee-length, so it matches all the of the options mentioned above perfectly in length. Plus, our church is always cold (I’m convinced it’s so they can kill all of the flu bugs roaming around), so being able to layer helps me stay comfortable, even if the kneelers are anything but.
Kid’s Styles
Scarlett
What’s cuter than a little girl in a twirly dress? How about a little girl in a twirly dress that’s the same style as Mom? The Scarlett is the little girl’s version of the Carly. And it’s as adorable as it sounds! Your little will rock this dress! And I bet it will quickly become one of her favorites!
Sariah
To keep up the cute level, how about another piece that matches Mom? The Sariah is just like the Sarah cardigan, so your little can stay warm, just like you. In a Scarlett and Sariah, your little girl will be one of the best dressed kids in their class!
