I spent part of this past week living on my bathroom floor. My body decided to have a flare of an autoimmune disorder, so I started thinking about other people who have to deal with episodes of pain and inflammation. Arthritis can be debilitating, as you know. Many people resort to sweatpants and t-shirts because of their ease of wear. What if I told you that I know the perfect clothing choice that looks fashionable, is easy to wear, and gives you a way to show off your shape? Let me help you ditch the sweats and find fashionable clothing choices that help maintain your independence.
There are very few buttons, ties, and zippers.
As of right now, the only style that has buttons is the Mark, a men’s shirt. The only style that has a zipper is the Amelia. And none of the current styles have ties. I remember my grandma having an RA flare when I was younger. She would avoid anything that had to be tied or fastened because her hands fought against her. I truly feel like LuLaRoe would have been a fashionable option for her to wear.
It’s easy to pull on and off.
Since there aren’t any buttons, ties, or zippers, these items tend to pull on. Because of this, they’re easy on and off, even if you’re lacking hand strength. Getting dressed and undressed will be very easy. Hopefully, you won’t need assistance in getting dressed, therefore helping you keep some of your independence.
The fabrics used are divine.
LuLaRoe’s leggings are known for being buttery soft. And yes, they truly are that soft. But the leggings material hasn’t been reserved for just the leggings. There are shirts, skirts, and dresses made out of this fabric as well. Ok, great. The fabric is super soft. How does that make a difference for people suffering with arthritis? You don’t have to worry about ironing your clothes! I’m not joking when I tell you that they don’t wrinkle. I can leave clothes in a laundry basket for a week and pull them out an wear them immediately. These clothes are an easy option if you can’t iron or hang clothes up during a flare.
Leggings are a great substitute for panty hose and tights.
I hate wearing panty hose and tights. Why? They’re a pain to get on. And I have full use of my hands! I can’t imagine how difficult tights and hose are when you can’t use your hands. But it’s not always feasible to go out without something on your legs. I live in Wisconsin. Winters are brutally cold, so I want an extra layer on my legs for the warmth. Well, I also want the layer because I become pasty white during winter. Leggings have become my answer. They’re looser than tights and hose, so they will slide up easier. You also don’t have to worry about getting a run in them. And honestly, the fabric is heavenly.
Because of all of these reasons, I truly feel that LuLaRoe is the perfect clothing choice for people with arthritis. Suffering from arthritis doesn’t mean you have to dress in a figure unflattering manner. If you would like to shop my current LuLaRoe inventory, please click HERE to join my shopping group.
