LuLaRoe announced the launch of a new style of shoes recently. If you’re anything like me, you stalk Patrick, the head designer, on Instagram like it’s your business. Patrick loves to stir up some excitement by posting a few sneak peeks. People eat it up, too! Back on December 3rd, 2017, Patrick was up to his usual antics by posting a sneak peek of some leopard print mules. I live in Wisconsin, so this didn’t pique my interest because I was focusing on winter boots and wearing 47 layers in a fashionable manner (I wrote a blog post about that. Click HERE if you need some help with layering.). Fast forward 4 months and I’m craving spring weather! It didn’t matter that we got 26 inches of snow that weekend, I had a minor spaz attack when the LuLaRoe Laura mule was announced to launch! I needed these shoes! Well, they’re finally here, so let’s analyze the LuLaRoe Laura mule!
Details on the LuLaRoe Laura Mule
The Laura mule is very similar to the LuLaRoe’s signature bootie, but it’s missing the back half. These are perfect when it’s a little cooler because more of your foot is covered. I’m rocking these today because I haven’t had a chance to get my spring pedi yet. These shoes have a pretty low heel, so I can run around like a crazy person and not have sore and achy feet at the end of the day. The almond shaped toe gives some definition to the front of the shoe without having an extremely pointy toe that reminds everyone of witch boots. The sole of these shoes have more padding than a lot of my shoes, so there is more cushioning than you would expect.
What would I change?
I do really love these shoes. They’re way more comfortable than I thought they would be. However, the soles are slick if they get wet (or on snow). I have small feet, so sizing is pretty easy for me. I went true to size with these because I didn’t want to be slipping around in them. They tend to run narrow, so size up if you have wider feet.
I would also make the front a little lower. I’m short, so pants tend to be long on me. If I want to wear these with jeggings or jeans, I’ll have to cuff my pants. But, I really can’t complain. These shoes are way more comfortable than I thought they would be! If you’re interested in shopping these shoes, click HERE!
