Even though I work from home, there are days when I need to dress up and leave my house. I never have to worry about what to wear on these days. The LuLaRoe Amelia is my go-to dress for these days.

So, let’s talk about what makes up the Amelia. The Amelia features a high neckline, but it is scooped so you don’t feel like you’re being strangled. No one likes feeling like they’re being choked! This dress nips in at the waist giving you a defined waistline before it flares away in hand-set box pleats. These pleats are fantastic at hiding lumps and bumps you don’t want high-lighted. The Amelia also has hidden pockets, which are perfect for hiding a cell phone, your keys, or all the crap yours kids hand you!
Dressing up the LuLaRoe Amelia
The LuLaRoe Amelia is one of my favorites to wear to a wedding. It’s comfortable, flattering, and easy to wear. Yet again, the pockets win because I can shove my phone and keys in there and I don’t have to worry about a purse!
Making the LuLaRoe Amelia Casual
This dress isn’t just for weddings and board meetings. The Amelia can easily be dressed down. I love to use a basic print or solid color to dress down. Throw on your Amelia, some Converse, Keds, or sandals, and go about your day! You look cute, are comfortable, and the best part? You have POCKETS! I know that on my super casual days that I don’t always want to bring a purse, so yay for pockets to shove my crap in!
Easy Access for Breast-Feeding
I can’t speak from personal experience, but I’ve heard from other women that the Amelia is a perfect answer to dressing up as a breast-feeding mother! Turn the dress around so the zipper is in the front, and you have easy access to breast feed. Since the pockets are directly on the sides and not tacked down, you’ll be able to flip them around easily so they work while wearing this dress “backwards”.
