Being pregnant is a wonderful time in a woman’s life, but not one that I’ve experienced. However, I have heard from many women that dressing during a pregnancy can be very challenging. Your body is changing. Nothing is comfortable. You don’t feel pretty. You might feel like you have lost your personal identity. While I might not be pregnant, I can understand this struggle (Click HERE to read my struggle). So, I invited some friends who are expecting to help me review LuLaRoe as maternity clothes.
Why LuLaRoe as maternity clothes is the perfect option during your pregnancy
If you’ve ever shopped in a LuLaRoe boutique, you have probably been told that you should shop the print, not the size (within reason. Someone that’s a 3XL would have a hard time fitting into an XXS). But when you’re starting at your smallest and growing larger due to a baby, shop the print as long as it’s larger. This could be just 1 size or multiple sizes. The possibilities are endless. Your belly will appreciate the space. And with a few styling tips and tricks from your retailer, You can make these pieces work in your wardrobe during your pregnancy, postpartum, and after your pregnancy.
Additionally, these clothes all come in very soft and forgiving fabrics. They will feel great against your skin. And these fabrics allow your body to grow without worrying that you will stretch out these items.
LuLaRoe As Maternity Clothes: The Interviews
Like I said above, I’m not pregnant nor am I planning on getting pregnant. Since I’m limited in my bump-growing skills to food babies, I reached out to three friends who are all expecting to model for me.

There comes a point during a pregnancy where none of your clothes fit, you don’t feel beautiful, and you just want it to be over….Hi, I’m Kasey I am 31 years old and 34 weeks pregnant with baby #2 when I modeled LuLaRoe for Devin. These clothes made all the negative aspects of pregnancy go away. For one night, clothes fit again, I felt comfortable, and most of all, I felt beautiful. I would recommend this line of clothing to any women who is pregnant. They could not have been any more comfortable, and work not only for pregnancy, but I can see myself wearing them after.

I love LuLaRoe leggings but have never tried a top or dress before and definitely didn’t consider them recently because they don’t carry a “maternity line.” That was a mistake! I wish I had known how comfortable these would be while pregnant and also how great I would feel in them. This is my third baby and I always have a hard time finding clothing that is both comfortable and flattering.

Sarah Goerke

When Devin asked me to do a maternity photo shoot wearing items from her LuLaRoe inventory I was SO excited but if I’m being honest, I was a little intrigued imagining how these ‘non maternity’ clothes were going to fit my very pregnant, very curvy body. Fellow mommas, I’m sure you can understand my concern. Regular clothes just don’t fit the same.
Thank you for making us feel absolutely beautiful in our changing bodies!

To sum things up, LuLaRoe is able to bridge the gap between your regular clothes, your maternity clothes, and what you’ll wear postpartum. If you haven’t thought about LuLaRoe as maternity clothes, I hope these reviews have opened your eyes. And keep your eyes open for a postpartum review. I have asked Kasey, Michaela, and Sarah to help me write another review once their babies have joined us.
