It’s finally here! The Xoe (pronounced Zo-e), has finally hit my shop! Since it’s here, it only makes sense that I jump in and write my honest style review, right? Well friends, let’s dive in. Here is my honest LuLaRoe Xoe review!
What is the LuLaRoe Xoe?
The Xoe is a jumpsuit or romper. It features a v-neckline, flutter sleeves, a drawstring waist, and hidden pockets on the side seams. The ones I received all are a very soft fabric, called MVS. This fabric feels like the t-shirt your significant other has had for years. The Xoe is $52 and comes in sizes S-3X.
LuLaRoe Xoe Review: Fit
I’m not going to lie. I didn’t think I would like the Xoe. I have a booty, so jumpsuits tend to make me look like… I’m hiding some junk. These ones don’t. I’m not sure if it’s the cut or the fabric, but they allow room for my booty without pulling funny and giving me a cameltoe. So, let’s get into the different sizes.
My Stats:
I’m 5’4″ on a good day. I’m a size 12/14, carry my weight in the lower portion of my body, 34D, but have an hourglass/borderline pear shape. Why do you need to know this info? Knowing my stats will help you decide what size would work best for you based on your body shape and size.
Small
Sorry guys, the small would not work. It was skin tight on me and the pockets were useless. This was not documented…
Medium
I didn’t think the medium would work. I thought it would be too tight on my taco belly. Nope! This beauty worked wonderfully! It was a little tighter in the thighs, but the print definitely hid this.
Large
This is my true size. I felt very comfortable in this size. There was room in the thighs so I could use the pockets (and they’re real pockets, not the tip of your fingers crap)! The neckline wasn’t too big, either. This will be a size I reach for regularly.
Extra-Large
This is a size larger than my regular size. The neckline was getting a bit larger on me. The cuffs on the bottom of the pants were also looser. I preferred them pushed up like this picture because otherwise the legs were getting a little long on me. Since I oversized, I hiked the crotch to where I wanted it, cinched down the drawstring, and bloused the top.
2XL
This size was too long for me and too loose in the neckline and cuffs.
LuLaRoe Xoe Review: Styling Tips
Curious on how to style your LuLaRoe Xoe? Here are some of the ways that I have styled them.
For a more casual look, I partnered this Xoe with a moto jacket and some Adidas sneakers. I still have access to the pockets, have some warmth, but I’m comfy beyond belief!
For a little more dressed up look, I partnered this Xoe with a velvet Sarah cardigan and a pair of boots. Throw on a longer necklace and you’ll be ready for any meetings or errands your day might have!
For a more boho look, I threw on some suede fringe booties and grabbed a Mimi to keep the fringe theme going. Grab a wide brimmed hat and some long earrings and you have a relaxed, comfy look!
LuLaRoe Xoe Review: Overall Thoughts
I wanted to hate this style. I have never had any luck wearing a romper past the age of 3. However, I had to eat my words. This romper was everything I was looking for, but didn’t know I wanted. The Xoe feels like pajamas, but looks very put together. If I had to give any criticism, the drawstring is long. However, it has a raw edge, so it would be very easy to trim it to the length you want.
