There’s a new layering piece within LuLaRoe’s collection, friends! Living in Wisconsin where layering is essential to surviving our winters, I’m ALL about the layers! So, what is this new piece? It’s called the Savannah. What is it? I’ll break down all the details below! Let’s get to covering the LuLaRoe Savannah! (See what I did there?)
What is the LuLaRoe Savannah?
The Savannah is being described as a kaftan by LuLaRoe. According to Mirriam-Webster, a kaftan is an ankle-length lightweight garment featuring long sleeves that is commonly found in the Middle East. When you look at images of the LuLaRoe Savannah, I would argue that it is a wrap or layering piece inspired by a kaftan versus a true kaftan. Since the Savannah isn’t an ankle-length dress with long sleeves, I truly feel that this an inspired piece, not an actual kaftan. Why am I splitting atoms? I want people to know what they’re actually getting versus seeing the title and thinking this is going to be a long, flowy dress.
The LuLaRoe Savannah features a slouchy shoulder seam, a hemmed bottom, and a detached sash. Since the sash is detached, there will be many different ways to style the Savannah.
How does the sizing for the Savannah work?
Since this piece is an overlay, there is a lot of play when it comes to sizing. Here is the sizing chart we were provided with. Click HERE to read my honest review of the Savannah.
What fabrics does the Savannah come in?
As of the initial launch of this style, the Savannah came in brushed and unbrushed hachi, or sweater, fabric.
How much does the LuLaRoe Savannah cost?
The Savannah is $44, which I think is extremely reasonable. Shipping and taxes will be based on your retailer and location.
Where can I find the Savannah?
Check with your local retailers. If your favorite LuLa-lady isn’t going to be carrying the Savannah, feel free to join my community group HERE.
