LuLaRoe Morgan Review: Fabric
The Morgan comes in MVS, which is a really soft t-shirt fabric. I love this because it feels so incredibly comfortable on my skin.
LuLaRoe Morgan Review: Price
At $34, I feel like the Morgan is worth the price tag.
LuLaRoe Morgan Review: Fit
On thing that I always try to do is to put on every size of the Morgan that I can so you know what size I prefer. Knowing this information, along with my stats, will help you make an informed decision on which size will be the best fit for you.
My Stats
I’m 5’4″, a size 12/14, 34D, and have an hourglass/borderline pear shape. This means I carry my weight in my hips, stomach, thighs, and booty. In LuLaRoe sizing, I prefer a large Amelia, large Classic, medium Iris, and small Irma/Perfect Tee. Like I said above, knowing this information will help you make an informed opinion on what size you will want to wear. Now, let’s get to trying on these shirts!
Small
According to the information sent to retailers by LuLaRoe, sizing for the Morgan is supposed to be similar to the Perfect Tee. Small is the smaller of my two Perfect sizes. I’m sorry friends, this is a lie. The small was TIGHT! The sleeves were tight, the bust was whiskering, and I didn’t feel comfortable at all. Additionally, my booty was barely covered, so I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing this size with leggings.
Medium
The medium is my other preferred Perfect Tee size. While this is more comfortable than the small, I felt like it was tighter right where my upper belly roll starts. This made me worried that it would cling if I sat down. The sleeves had more room, therefore, they were comfortable. Would this be my go-to size? No, but I will make it work if I LOVE the print.
Large
This is my traditional shirt size. Honestly, this was the most comfortable sizing for me. It didn’t cling to my stomach, my shoulders had room to Hulk out, and my booty was covered. This will be my go-to size for the Morgan.
Extra-Large
This is one size larger than my traditional size. The sleeves hit right above my elbow, but they don’t get in the way of my arm folding. I think this size would be really cute with something fitted on your bottom half, like leggings, a Cassie, or denim.
2XL
Now we’re reaching the point of oversized where it’s no longer cute. This might be because of my body shape, but way oversized doesn’t look good on me, in my opinion.
3XL
And I’ve officially lost my shape. The nice thing about trying on each size is that I can see that this shirt does scale properly. It doesn’t take a massive leap from large to XL like others have previously.
LuLaRoe Morgan Review: Overall Thoughts
Overall, I like the Morgan. It’s another very versatile shirt to add to our closets. The sleeves with the ruching is probably my favorite detail because it adds a little unexpected flair. However, I have major issues with this shirt being billed as “Perfect Tee Sizing”. I would argue that true to size or sizing down once would be your best bet to make sure you’re covered and not feeling like a sausage ready to burst from your casing. Sorry, my Wisconsin just showed there.
