There new LuLaRoe Kristina tank has hit my shop this week! What does that mean? It means that it’s time for me to do another round of my honest review because I know that you readers love when I’m honest with a style. So, let’s get to it! Here is my honest LuLaRoe Kristina review!
What is the LuLaRoe Kristina?
The Kristina is a very flowy tank that’s similar to the Perfect Tank. Click HERE to read my announcement post when the Kristina was launched.
LuLaRoe Kristina Review: Fabric
The Kristina comes in MVS, which is the super soft and stretchy fabric we see in a lot of LuLaRoe tops. I love this fabric because it breathes, lays nicely on the body, and doesn’t wrinkle easily. Since I’m terrible at putting away laundry, this is exactly what I need in my clothes.
LuLaRoe Kristina Review: Price
The Kristina retails for $32, which I love. This price point is great for the quality of shirt that you’re getting!
LuLaRoe Kristina Review: Fit
Ok, let’s get to the info you really want to know. What size do you need in the Kristina?
My Stats
I’m going to give you my information so you can make a more informed decision on what size you need.
I’m 5’4″, a size 12/14, a 34D, and have an hourglass/borderline pear shape. What does my shape mean? It means that I carry my weight in my hips, butt, stomach, and thighs. I have a smaller natural waist with some extra junk in my trunk. When it comes to LuLaRoe true to size styles, I prefer a large.
XXS-XS
I wasn’t able to order these sizes, but I will update this once I do get to order them.
Small
Slipping into a small always is a boost to my confidence. But when it comes to trying on clothes for these reviews, there are a few things that I watch for. How are the armpits? Is there whiskering anywhere? How is the length? As for the armpits, they are up in my pits, but not so tight that it’s too tight. There is no whiskering, which is a sign that it’s too tight. And the length? I’d wear this with jeans and skirts, but it would be a little short for leggings.
Medium
This will be my preferred size. The armpits are great. The length is where I want it to be. It’s loose without being too baggy. The v-neck isn’t too low, either.
Large
This would be what I consider my traditional size. It’s getting bigger on me, but it’s not sloppy, yet. I’d wear this with something fitted on the bottom. The armpits are still ok. You can’t see my bra.
XL
And now we’re getting into shapeless territory. I think this would be cute as a swimsuit coverup, but beyond that, it’s pretty loose all over. I feel like if I were to bend over, you will see everything down the front of my shirt.
2XL
We have reached the point where my bra is visible out the arm holes. The v-neck is getting very, very loose. I’m not going to be wearing this size.
3XL
After how the 2X looked, I didn’t even try a 3X. I feel like the neckline would be too loose.
LuLaRoe Kristina Review: Body Shape
I get it. What might look amazing on one body shape may not look that flattering on another body. So, knowing your body shape can help you make an informed decision on what styles to wear. Need help figuring out your body shape? I’ve got the perfect article for you to read right HERE!
For the Kristina, I truly believe it is universally flattering. This style helps create or highlight the curves you want and minimizes the curves you don’t.
LuLaRoe Kristina Review: Overall Thoughts
I truly was a fan of the Perfect tank, so I was saddened when I heard that it wasn’t going to be coming back. However, the Kristina tank has more than made up for it. I felt like the slits on the side of the Perfect were unnecessary, so I’m excited that they were eliminated from the Kristina. The arm holes were not perfect on the Perfect tank either, so I’m beyond thankful that this was fixed on the Kristina. Overall, I’m very happy with this tank.
