The LuLaRoe Ryane-My Honest Review

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

Whew! I have been slacking on the style reviews! Well, it’s time to break that cycle and get back to writing! LuLaRoe recently released the Ryane dress, so it’s only proper that I review her, right? So, let’s jump into it! Here is my honest LuLaRoe Ryane review!

What is the LuLaRoe Ryane?

The Ryane (rhymes with Bryan) is a long sleeve midi dress. So, what’s a midi dress? Midi refers to length. It’s not maxi, but it’s not mini. It will hit about middle of the shin to top of the ankle, depending on your height. Want to read all of the details? Click HERE to read the post announcing the Ryane.

LuLaRoe Ryane Review: Fabric

The Ryane comes in MVS, which is the soft, cottony feeling fabric we know and love.

LuLaRoe Ryane Review: Price

For $46, I really feel that this dress is affordable. The Ana, the first LuLaRoe maxi dress, was $60. This dress as full sleeves and is only a few dollars more than the Riley.

LuLaRoe Ryane Review: Fit

My Stats

I’m a size 12/14, a traditional size large, am an hourglass/borderline pear shape (this means I tend to carry weight more in my hips, butt, lower tummy, and thighs), 5’4″, and a 34D. Why do you need to know this info? Knowing my body shape and stats can help you make a more informed decision on what size will work best for you.

Small

I kept saying that a small wouldn’t work for me, but color me surprised! This not only worked, but wasn’t too tight! Would this be my default size? No, but I’d make it work for the right print.

Medium

Well, this makes me feel good, too! The sleeves are too tight, the length is good, the neckline isn’t too deep, and it’s not too tight through the bust. I’ll declare this as one of my go-to sizes!

Large

This is my traditional size. It feels incredibly comfortable. The length is still perfect on my 5″4′ frame. This will be the other size I reach for!

Extra Large

The body on the XL is a bit big, but not gaping. I did notice that the sleeves were getting a little long, but I push them up all the time, so no problem here!

2XL

And the body is getting way too big! I feel like if I bent over, you could see right down the dress. This will not be a size that I’m comfortable rocking.

3XL

Yes, this is way too big. But, the good news? This means it will work wonderfully for our plus sized friends!

LuLaRoe Ryane Review: Overall Thoughts

I love the Riley dress, which this dress is very similar to. Add long sleeves, and I’m game. At first, I was hesitant because my arms are a little larger. I didn’t know if this dress would work for me. But, I was shocked when even the small wasn’t too small! I feel like this dress is the perfect melding of the length of the Riley, the waist of the Nicki, with the sleeves of a Lynnae. At first, I thought this looked like a Little House on the Prairie dress, but after putting it on, I LOVE it! What would I change if I could? I’d add pockets.
